At Gayathri Ashram all Homams and Poojas are done through most learned priests from very highly “Veda Pada Salai” (Veda School to Teach Vedas and Mantras). The Priests are very highly knowledgeable to cast the right mantras with right pronunciation of the mantra formulas. These priests are
masters and have performed the Homams and Poojas for generations. Hindu priests are very special persons. They have to not only care for their body by being a vegetarian, bathing rituals and other purification rites, but they must take good care of their mind and emotions, too. Anger is a no for a priest, so are worry and worldly concerns.
We will send you our professional Purohit / Pundit trained in Hindu Vedic Paatasala to conduct the Homam/pooja at Devotees given location (home, office, temple etc.) and time (Sri Gayathri Ashram Pundit Ji will fix the date & time according to the Devotees Nakshatra (Star) on an auspicious date).

The couples who have continued their journey for long 80 years are treated in a very special way on this day as they have left their foot prints for their grand children to follow up. They are blessed couples as they have seen their 3 generations and are lucky to witness each and every major functions of the family. The newly married couples or the young generation can seek blessings from them as they are considered as ideal couple. This particular event is a mandatory ritual which seals one of the family’s biggest fortunes. Having someone who has lived up to this age and getting their blessings is just such good Karma (fortune).
Timing:
Poojas can be done very elaborately (more than one day) or within shortened time-period. It is done when the person reaches the remarkable eighty years of age and the function is done in full swing having considering all the necessary Homams and poojas.
