Welcome to the website of the Sri Gayathri Ashram a nonprofit religious organization. We are a community of aspiring devotees practicing the path of Maharishi Dayananda Paramahamsa, or more simply, spiritual healing techniques which was guided and laid by a realized saint.
The spiritual path of self-giving and service unto Divinity is augmented and enriched by the chanting of the Holy Names of God. These auspicious activities have been revealed by Maharishi Dayananda Paramahamsa as the most efficient way to spiritually awaken the eternal spiritual self in this present age of rampant materialism called Kali-yuga. Sri Gaythri Devi’s Temple Kumbaabhisegam was done on July 29, 1979 (In India) by Maharishi Dayananda Paramahamsa and his devotees. The Temple itself is a holy space located in Thangachimadam at Rameswaram (Island) in Tamil Nadu, India founded by our beloved Maharishi Dayananda Paramahamsa and is dedicated exclusively to the cultivation of pure devotional healing services having faith in our Goddess, Sri Gaythri Devi.
Aims and Objectives of the Ashram
∗ To provide physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing through techniques such as Cosmic Energy Healing, Distant Healing, Absentee-Healing etc.
∗ To undertake research on various forms of healing techniques like Meditation, Energy, Reiki, Magnified, Water Therapy, etc.
∗ To organize, conduct and patronize healing camps for alleviating physical, emotional, spiritual sufferings.
∗ To undertake healing of the poor and the needy by different forms of traditional and ancient methods like Ayurveda, Siddha, Marma, Energy etc.
∗ To print and publish books, literature, videos, etc about different forms of healing.
Future Plans of the Sri Gayathri Ashram
∗ To organize plantation camps, blood donation camps, eye donation camps, family welfare programs and youth welfare programs..
∗ To provide meals for the needy all throughout the year.
∗ To provide educational scholarships, free notebooks and uniforms to needy children.
∗ To implement and run various Educational, Social and Cultural programs at regular intervals.
∗ To establish and run hostels and ashram school for the poor students and to facilitate them with residence, education and meals.
∗ To run free hospitals and medical center for poor and needy.
∗ To establish old age house and orphanage, to facilitate accommodation and meals.
∗ To implement various policies declared by the Government for the well being of the handicapped.
∗ We provide Free Horoscope for the All People.
∗ We provide meals for the needy in our Rameswaram Murugan Temple on Panguni uthiram Festival yearly once for general Public.
∗ We provide meals so many times a year to old age homes.
We are looking to buy a beautiful huge land, self-sufficient in the Thangachimadam Island of Rameswaram. Our vision is to build a home where all are welcome, where we will grow and make our own food, shelter and clothing, or use recycled materials. We also seek that location to be surrounded by nature. We wish to be self-sufficient and will use solar power.
